Bihar adg & farmer controversy: Incidents of crime have been coming out in Bihar for the last few days. People are being murdered in broad daylight, which created an atmosphere of panic in the entire state. At the same time, many questions started to arise about law and order. On this matter, senior Bihar Police officer ADG STF Kundan Krishnan gave a peculiar argument on the previous day, causing the matter to be hot.
The ADG said that farmers are empty in April-May, so there is an increase in the case of crime. After this, when it rains, the farmer gets busy with farming and gradually crime also decreases.
Outrage in farmers
After this statement of the ADG, there was a lot of resentment among the farmers. He is angry with the statement of ADG. On this matter, a spokesman of the United Kisan Morcha issued a statement saying that farmers produce food grains in the fields, do not commit crime. He further warned that if the ADG did not publicly apologized, a statewide protest, effigy burning and condemnation resolution will be passed at the General Body Meeting held in Delhi on 20 July. Apart from this, he said that in today’s time, police stations have become not a place for the Sharifs, but the bases of chokes, brokers and criminals have been formed. The farmer is afraid of going to the police station, but the police consumes criminals.
Many farmers of Begusarai district reacted to this, saying that farmers are busy with the responsibilities of farm-barn and their families throughout the year. Officers can come to our village and see how the real life of farmers is.
Opposition parties took a dig
There is an election atmosphere in Bihar. In such a situation, opposition parties are also very active. After the statement of the ADG, many political leaders have also reacted to it and described it as an attempt to hide the failure of the administration. Tejashwi Yadav blamed Nitish Kumar on the matter and said that the blame is not of the weather, but needs to improve his law. Tejashwi further said on the statement of ADG Kundan Krishnan that such rhetoric causes the morale of the police to fall.
At the same time, Chirag Paswan called the ADG’s statement very embarrassing and said that the attention of the Bihar Police is somewhere else instead of catching the crime. The police should clarify their priority.
