Bihar government scheme: The Nitish Kumar government of Bihar has taken a big step in the path of fulfilling the dream of Mahatma Gandhi’s village Swaraj. To speed up development at the panchayat level in the state and to facilitate administrative services, ‘Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan’ is being constructed in every panchayat. This initiative is considered a historical attempt in the path to make rural India strong and self -reliant.
Building construction department gave great information
Kumar Ravi, Secretary, Building Construction Department, gave this big information and said that under this scheme, construction of about 2600 panchayat government buildings is proposed, out of which work has been started on 2000 buildings, while the tender process of the remaining 400 buildings is in progress. He said that these buildings will work as integrated secretariat at the panchayat level, so that people will be able to get all government services at one place.
Under this initiative of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, about 1187 buildings are being constructed in flood affected areas and 1488 in ordinary areas. These buildings will be equipped with modern facilities. The area of these buildings in ordinary areas will be about 7202 square feet and 9538 square feet in flood affected areas.
These will also be all facilities
Along with this, the Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan will be two -storey and will also have a residential facility for panchayat representatives and office for office, court room, record room, store, meeting hall, reception room for citizens, service centers, post offices and special works for citizens.
These buildings will also prove to be mad during the disaster and will help the panchayats to maintain transparency and accountability in their works. The state government believes that this initiative will not only strengthen the rural administration, but will also increase the share and trust of the local people.
Let me tell you, this new initiative of the Bihar government is a big effort to implement Gandhi’s concept of village Swaraj at the rural level in modern form, which will give a new dimension to the inclusive and sustainable development of the state.
