Bihar Land Survey: Land survey work is going on in Bihar. Land Reform and Revenue Minister Dilip Jaiswal has said that farmers will be given extra time. Meanwhile, reports of Khatian being spoilt or damaged in the record room are also coming to the fore. There is a lot of confusion about the land survey in Madhubani district. The peasants are facing a lot of difficulty in finding their land related papers. Various discussions about the survey in 386 panchayats of 21 blocks of the district have increased the problems of the land owners. The peasants have the deed of the land purchased in the new land, but they are sweating in finding the papers of ancestral land.
Farmers are unable to find records that are three generations old. The wife of Dashrath Yadav of Kakraul Telyani reached the Rahika Survey Camp Office Kakraul with her son and said that they have ancestral land in the name of her husband’s grandfather and great grandfather. They do not have the papers for it, now they are wandering from revenue officer to place for the papers. Let us tell you that farmers are forced to wander because the Khatian of most of the Mauzas of the district has been damaged. Most of the pages in the Khatian available with the revenue officer have been damaged. Because of this competition, farmers are ready to spend thousands of rupees.
Although the department has not set any time limit for submitting the papers, the farmers are worried day and night. Farmers have lost their sleep at night. Lalbabu, a farmer from Salampur, said that it took him several days to find out the account-khasra of his field. Later, he got the account-khasra from a private amin and submitted the form. A government school teacher, on the condition of anonymity, said that when he went to submit the form at the survey camp in Kakraul on Saturday, he did not see the things written in the format even after requesting.

They have been given the receipt of the submitted documents. There are many flaws in Register 2 which was made online in the year 2017. The names are available in the papers which were released online, but in some the father’s name is wrong, in some the account-khasra is not mentioned at all. Only the part number and page number are mentioned. However, many farmers say that in some of these there are many errors as well. In such a situation, farmers are getting more disappointed.
File a genealogy prepared by yourself
Rahika’s Circle Officer Abhay Kumar said that the peasants do not need to wander anywhere for the genealogy. They can prepare the genealogy on plain paper by themselves. He said that those farmers who are not getting the Khatian in proper condition with the revenue employee, they can get the verified copy of the Khatian from the archives. Apart from this, Khatian is also available in Darbhanga. He said that many peasants in the villages also have Khatian available, information can be obtained from there as well. Circle Officer Abhay Kumar said that if the land of the farmer is obtained from the document and it is not available, then he can also get its copy from the registration office. The purpose of this survey is to provide convenience to the farmers. Farmers who do not have time or live outside, such farmers can fill and upload online form 2 and three (one). There will be no need to come to the survey camp for this. Survey camp for Rahika zone has been set up in Kakrol Panchayat Government Building.
Submit the form based on the interference-position
For the special survey conducted in Kakrol of Rahika, Kanungo Mohammad Ahsan told that the peasants need not worry. All the farmers should fill the paper form on the basis of the possession-position of their land and submit it in the camp. Its receipt is also given to the farmers. Prepare the self-declared genealogy yourself. There is no need to wander elsewhere for this. If someone does not have any papers right now, then also they can fill the form on the basis of possession position and submit it. Later when the Amin will go to the plot, they should keep their papers ready. Do not get confused by any kind of rumors.
