The election strategy was discussed during the NDA meeting held on Wednesday in the capital Delhi regarding Bihar elections. Bharatiya Janata Party national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, who was present at the meeting, said that in Bihar elections, we will all fight together and we are confident of winning.
He said that during the election, all of us have to work together under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. During his visit to Bihar, Home Minister Shah will get an initial feedback regarding the election. During this, he will also brainstorm with BJP leaders regarding the election strategy.
Emphasis on working together under Nitish’s leadership
The NDA, who won the 2020 assembly elections in Bihar, has made preparations to put full strength in the proposed assembly elections in October-November this year. The leaders of allies present during the NDA meeting held in Delhi expressed their intention to contest the assembly elections with full solidarity. BJP national president JP Nadda, both Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar, all NDA MPs and all Union Ministers coming from Bihar attended this meeting held at the residence of BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal.
During the meeting, BJP President Nadda said that despite adverse circumstances, good results were achieved during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2025 assembly elections, all of us have to work together under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to form the NDA government in Bihar. We will definitely win by contesting elections together.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhagalpur was very successful and now he is going to visit Madhubani next month. We all have to make this tour successful like Bhagalpur.
Manjhi, Chirag and Kushwaha’s big claim
This major meeting of NDA was attended by Jeetan Ram Manjhi of Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Upendra Kushwaha of Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM). After the meeting, Jitan Ram Manjhi claimed that the NDA would win a major victory in the election. He also made a big claim to win 225 seats in Bihar. The Union Minister said that the election strategy of the NDA will be discussed further in Patna.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan claimed to win a historic victory in Bihar this time. He said that this is an election year and in such a situation, all strategies will be decided. We are trying to try how to bring the achievements of the government to the public.
Rashtriya Lok Morcha president Upendra Kushwaha said that no alliance is going to stand in front of the strength of NDA in Bihar. This meeting has been organized to meet each other. We have made our strategy and based on this we will win the election.
Screw will be stuck on seat sharing
There was no discussion about seat sharing during this important meeting of NDA. The seat sharing is not considered easy in view of the demand being placed by the allies involved in the NDA. Demand has started coming out from allies. There has been a demand of 40-40 seats by Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party. Chirag’s party is demanding less than one seat in every district.
Jitan Ram Manjhi has also put a demand for 40 seats. Upendra Kushwaha’s attitude has not yet been revealed on the number of seats. BJP and JDU are the largest parties in the NDA and both these parties have not yet opened their cards regarding the number of seats. Political experts believe that discussion will begin on seat sharing in the coming days. During this time, it will not be easy to satisfy all allies for the leadership of BJP and JDU.
