Bihar Politics: The meeting held with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi could not get any concrete results for Bihar assembly elections. Tejashwi Yadav had come to meet Congress leaders with great expectation but his intention could not be fulfilled. In fact, in Bihar, the Congress is now ready to bat on the front foot and is not ready to do politics except its interests.
Even the picture could not be cleared regarding CM face. The Congress has not yet opened its cards on this issue. After the meeting, Tejashwi Yadav was seen postponing on behalf of the media. It has become clear from the efforts of Tejashwi to postpone the question that Tejashwi has not been able to get any concrete assurance from the Congress on this issue. In such a situation, now RJD’s eyes are on the next meeting to be held on April 17.
Congress’s aggressive strategy in Bihar
In Bihar these days, the Congress is engaged in doing aggressive politics. Rahul Gandhi has visited Bihar thrice this year and during this time he has tried to give a edge to the party’s campaign. The ‘Job, Exodus Stop’, led by Kanhaiya Kumar on behalf of the party, has also received a lot of support in Bihar.
The party has tried to keep a Dalit equation through the crown of Rajesh Kumar, who belongs to the Dalit fraternity on the post of President of the State Congress. Along with this, the party is also trying to speed up the OBC equation, intensifying the demand for caste census. In Bihar, the Congress is not seen in the mood to do politics after seeing its interests. This stance of Congress seems to be a problem for RJD.
No assurance about CM Face
RJD had high expectations from RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s meeting on Tuesday and Rahul Gandhi’s meeting. RJD believed that during this meeting, the name of Tejashwi Yadav will be approved as CM Face, but Tejashwi could not get any concrete assurance regarding this issue. This was the reason that after leaving the meeting, Tejashwi Yadav was seen avoiding the questions asked about CM Face.
Tejashwi Yadav did not directly respond to the question asked about CM Face. In response to the question of who will be the face of the Chief Minister in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav said that there is no need to get upset for you people. Don’t know why you are so worried about CM’s face.
He said that we will discuss and unanimously decide the CM’s face. When everything is clear, you will also know. It is clear from Tejashwi Yadav’s statement that his name could not be approved during Tuesday’s meeting.
Congress is not ready to bow down with seats
During Tuesday’s meeting, there is no discussion about seat sharing. The Congress, which fought 70 seats in the last assembly election, also wants respectable seats this time. This time the party is eyeing the seats where the party is considering itself in a strong position. The Congress wants to put the leaders of its choice in the electoral struggle besides its desired seats and this is not coming down the neck of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi is not feeling to promote leaders like Kanhaiya Kumar and Pappu Yadav from the Congress. During the Delhi meeting, the Congress was not ready to back down on its issues. RJD is trying to contest more than 143 seats. In such a situation, it will be no less challenging to carry VIP, JMM and Paras faction including Congress and Left. The case of seat sharing among so many parties is being considered crooked kheer.
Now the meeting of April 17
After Tuesday’s meeting, all eyes are now on the next meeting to be held in Patna on 17 April. Tejashwi Yadav said that there has been a positive conversation in the Delhi meeting. On April 17, we will meet again in Patna and will discuss further strategies. We cannot tell the media about our strategy right now. Other allies are also expected to attend the 17 April meeting.
He said that we are fully ready to win elections in Bihar. Even after the 20 -year rule of India in Bihar, Bihar remains the most backward state in the country. We want to take Bihar forward. Bihar was behaved step by step -step during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 -year rule. The people of Bihar are fully aware of this.
