Bihar News: So far 86.32% calculation forms have been collected under the ongoing special intensive revision process in Bihar. According to a press release issued by the Election Commission on Tuesday, about 6.81 crores have submitted their forms out of more than 7.89 crore registered voters. On 25 July 2025, this feat has been recorded ten days before the last date for submission of EF.
According to the Commission, a total of 90.84% of the voters have been covered by the dead, permanently transferred persons and the names registered at more than one places, so far. The remaining 9.16% of the voters are active efforts to submit the form on time.
More than one lakh blo on work
To make this process more effective, around one lakh BLOs in the state will soon launch the third phase door-to-door campaign. So that the name of every eligible person can be recorded in the voter list to be published on August 1, 2025. Special camps are being set up in 5,683 wards of 261 urban local bodies (ULBs) of the state. Also, voters are being made aware through newspapers and other publicity mediums.
The Commission is also providing the facility to voters to fill the online form through the ECINET app or Voters.Eci.gov.in website. Under Para 3 (D) of SIR Guideline, voters can fill their form from wherever they are and can also see the status of their name in the 2003 voter list if needed.
So far, more than 6.20 crore forms have been successfully uploaded on the ECINet portal. Also, voters will now be able to visit https://voters.eci.gov.in and will also see whether their identity card has been deposited or not. A new module is also being done tonight for this. In this comprehensive effort, 1.5 lakh BLA appointed by political parties is collaborating with BLO. Which can verify and submit EF forms up to 50 daily.
