Bihar Top News Today 21 September 2024: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is going to hold a meeting with top officials on the law and order situation in Bihar on Saturday. He will also inspect the flood at Gayghat in Patna. Due to the rise in Ganga, Gandak, Son, Ghaghra and other rivers, the flood situation remains serious in Patna, Vaishali, Bhojpur, Saran and other districts. Criminals spread panic by firing early in the morning in Patna and Nalanda. Three people have been injured due to bullet injuries in two separate cases. The head of Vanveera Panchayat was shot dead in Samastipur. A student of NIT Patna committed suicide late at night, due to which the students created a ruckus. CM Nitish will hold a meeting on law and order, will also inspect the flood
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will hold a review meeting on the law and order situation in the state on Saturday morning. Top officials of the Home Department and Bihar Police will attend it. This meeting is considered important amid the questions being raised by the opposition on law and order. CM Nitish will also inspect the flood of river Ganga at Gayghat in Patna today.
Deliberation is still going on regarding the transfer policy of teachers in Bihar. In such a situation, there will be a delay in the transfer of teachers for the time being.
Early morning firing in Patna, murder accused Guddu injured
On Saturday morning, bike riding criminals shot and injured a person named Guddu in Tikiya Toli of Pirbahor police station area of the capital Patna. The bullet hit his waist. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The police have started identifying the criminals. It is being told that many cases are registered against the injured Guddu. He has been accused in murder cases.
In view of the JSSC examination, special trains will be run between Bihar and Jharkhand for two days today and tomorrow. These trains will run from Ranchi to Patna and Bhagalpur on Saturday and Sunday. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra.
Gongdi village trembled with the sound of bullets in Nalanda, grandfather and granddaughter were shot
There was chaos in the area due to the sound of gunfire in the morning in Gongdi village of Manpur police station area of the district. Grandfather and granddaughter were shot. Police reached the village after getting the information and started investigating the matter. It is being said that the firing took place due to personal enmity.
So far, about 36 lakh people have filed self-declaration forms under the land survey and settlement program in Bihar. About 25 lakh self-declaration forms have been filed offline by the farmers by visiting camps and about 11 lakh have been filed online.
A Mukhiya was shot dead in the district on Friday. This incident happened during a fight during the cremation. It is being told that the Mukhiya was trying to mediate to resolve the fight, when he was fired upon. The incident took place near Dihiya bridge in Halai police station area. The deceased Narayan Sharma was the president of the Mukhiya Sangh of Morwa.
A student from Andhra Pradesh committed suicide in NIT Patna on Friday night. The incident took place in the hostel located in Bihta campus. As soon as the news of the student’s suicide spread, the NIT students created a ruckus in the campus late at night.
There is an atmosphere of panic in Bihar due to floods after several rivers including Ganga, Gandak, Ghaghra, Son have overflowed. Flood water has spread in 259 gram panchayats of 11 districts of the state. This has affected a population of about 5.35 lakh. So far, five people have died due to drowning in flood waters. One of the dead is from Bhojpur and four are from Saran district.
In Bihar, the per capita income at current prices in the year 2022-23 was Rs 59,244, which has increased to Rs 66,828 in 2023-24. That is, the per capita income at current prices has increased by Rs 7584 in the last one year. Apart from this, Bihar’s gross domestic product i.e. GDP has also increased by 14.5 percent. This has been revealed in a report of the Central Government.
