BJP MLA's FIR not registered in MP, he wrote resignation letter at the police station itself

BJP MLA from Deori in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, Brij Bihari Pateria reached Kesli police station to provide justice to a victim’s family. But he became upset after seeing the working system of the police. The MLA along with family members and supporters of the victim’s family sat on a dharna in the police station premises itself. The BJP MLA sitting on the dharna demanded an FIR against Dr. Deepak Dubey who demanded bribe from the police station in-charge in exchange for handing over the post-mortem report, but his FIR was not registered. Angered by this, the MLA sat in the police station premises and wrote his resignation on his letter head to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

Doctor was asking for bribe

Actually, a month ago an elderly Dhaniram was bitten by a snake. The old man died during treatment. The post-mortem of the deceased was also done by the doctor of Kesli Community Health Center, after which the doctor did not give the PM report to the family. The family members allege that the doctor said that financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh has been received, in return of which they will give Rs 40 thousand only then the report will be received. When the doctor flatly refused to give the PM report, the family reached the police station but no action was taken.

What did the BJP MLA say?

The family members of deceased Dhaniram reached the house of BJP MLA Brij Bihari Pateria. He told the whole thing to the MLA. The MLA asked to immediately register an FIR against Dr Deepak Dubey posted at Kesli Community Health Centre. But FIR was not registered in the police station. Angered, the MLA reached the police station with his supporters. In this whole matter, MLA Brij Bihari Pateria says that if the MLA of the ruling party has to stage a dharna, nothing can be more shameful than this. I don’t want to do such legislation. I did not become MLA to fill my stomach. I have become an MLA to speak for the public. I have become MLA to raise the voice of the poor.

Congress took sarcasm

Now Congress has also taken a sarcasm in this matter and posted on Facebook that when the BJP MLA is not being heard under the BJP rule then what will the general public expect.
