BJP State President: Uttarakhand BJP once again expressed confidence in Mahendra Bhatt and elected him for the second time the state president of the party. The special thing is that Mahendra Bhatt was elected unopposed in this election, which has once again accepted his leadership in the party.
There was speculation and discussions for the last few times about the election of the state president. Several names were being considered, but in the end the party high command entrusted this responsibility again in view of Mahendra Bhatt’s experience and his grip on the organization. Mahendra Bhatt has previously played an active role as the state president and has contributed significantly in strengthening the organization to the booth level. There is also an atmosphere of happiness among the workers for his re -president being elected.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated Mahendra Bhatt on being made the state president and said that under his leadership the party will enter the upcoming elections more firmly.
Himachal BJP command once again
Himachal Pradesh BJP has got a new but well-known face as president. Dr. Rajiv Bindal has once again been given the command of Himachal BJP. This is the third time he got this great responsibility. His appointment was announced by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh. Bindal’s name was agreed unopposed and senior leaders proposed his name.
Election officer Rajiv Bhardwaj informed that in support of Dr. Bindal, Leader of Opposition and BJP Legislature Party Leader Jairam Thakur, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, all BJP MPs, former state president Govind Thakur and other senior officials had filed three nomination papers.
Dr. Rajiv Bindal’s political journey has been long and full of experiences. He has won the assembly elections three from Solan from 2002 to 2022 and twice from Nahan. From 2007 to 2012, he also served as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare in Prem Kumar Dhumal Sarkar.
Now once again, his new term has started as the state president from 1 July 2025. This decision in the party is considered very important about organizational strength and strategy of upcoming elections.
