Last night, BJP worker Umesh Tiwari, who has links with many big leaders and top police officials, opened fire at a wedding ceremony in Dindoli area of Surat. This incident caused stampede and chaos on the spot while two people were injured due to gunshot. Both the youths were taken to the hospital for treatment. Higher officials reached the spot regarding this incident.
3 rounds of firing
A wedding ceremony was going on at Sai Shakti Society located in Dindoli area of the district. There was a wedding ceremony in a relative of Umesh Tiwari, who is associated with the unemployed business and an active BJP worker. Late at night, when people were dancing to the tunes of the DJ, Umesh Tiwari fired 3 rounds in the air from his licensed revolver and 2 rounds on the ground near his feet. The firing created chaos at the spot. Whereas Santosh Baghel and Virendra Vishwakarma, who had come to the sangeet evening, were hit by bullets in their legs. Both the bleeding youths were taken to the hospital for immediate treatment.
As soon as information about the incident was received, a convoy of senior police officers reached the spot. Police started investigation. Also checked the CCTV cameras installed in the society, in which Umesh Tiwari is seen firing in the air. Police have registered a case against Umesh Tiwari under sections of the Arms Act and Indian Civil Code and arrested him.

BJP worker Umesh Tiwari, who was gaining influence in the area by firing in the air, was taken to his own area by the police and killed. To reconstruct the incident, the accused was taken to the exact place where he had fired in the air. He said that the entire incident was reconstructed to gather information and take further action while standing and firing the shot.
Surat Police was so kind to Umesh Tiwari that even though an FIR was registered against him, his revolver license was not cancelled. Now the police is talking about starting the process of canceling the license of his revolver.

Apart from this, a reel with an ACP is also going viral on social media. Apart from this, the picture of BJP celebrating birthday with local leaders, officials and police personnel is also viral. After the pictures surfaced, there is a discussion that Umesh Tiwari is very close to some police officers and handles many of their tasks, hence initially an attempt was made to save the incident by calling it an accident. But because of CCTV cameras the police had to take action.
