BPSC 70th Prelims Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has canceled the BPSC 70th Preliminary Examination 2024 held at Bapu Pariksha Bhawan, Patna. This decision has come after the investigation report of the Center Superintendent and the District Administration. However, the Commission has not yet announced the new date of the examination. It is being told that the new dates of the examination will be announced soon. It is advised to keep visiting the official website of BPSC for new information.
According to media reports, the 70th preliminary examination of BPSC 2024 was conducted in Bihar at 912 centres, but the examination was conducted peacefully at 911 centres. The one center where attempts have been made to disrupt the examination is Bapu Examination Centre. Bihar Public Service Commission has canceled the examination conducted at Bapu Examination Center on the basis of the report of the Center Superintendent and District Administration.
Teams formed for investigation
Further investigation in this matter is being done by the IT cell and agency of BPSC. Meanwhile, the Senior Superintendent of Police has formed two teams to identify those disrupting the examination and take action against them. The Commission has identified 25-30 people, who will be interrogated further.
The Commission said that strict steps will be taken to ensure the future of five lakh candidates and maintain the sanctity of the examination. Many candidates were also prevented from taking the examination, this is also being investigated by the Commission. The Commission has not announced the new dates yet. It is being told that new methods for the examination will be announced soon.
2,035 vacancies will be filled
