Razzaq khan murder: A dreadful incident took place on Thursday night in Bhangar area of South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Block president of Trinamool Congress Razzaq Khan was killed here. The miscreants shot him first and then attacked him with a sharp weapon. The incident took place at around 10 pm in the Chaltabaria area. According to the information, Razzaq Khan was returning to his village Maricha from Bhangar Bazaar. Then some miscreants ambushed them near a canal on the way. He was first fired on him, then he was cut with sharp weapons. He was badly injured in this attack and later died.
Police started investigation
Kashipur police station reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. The police surrounded the area and started investigation. Initial evidence was collected from the scene and the body was sent for post -mortem. On receiving the information of the incident, Trinamool MLA Shukat Molla, who was close to Razzaq Khan, reached the spot. He expressed deep grief and anger over the murder and demanded that the criminals be caught soon.
