This action is being taken in the coastal area of Bet Dwarka. 50 residential and commercial buildings are being demolished here. Bulldozer action took place in this area for the first time in 2022. According to the administration, activities related to smuggling and crime were being carried out from here due to illegal occupation. In such a situation, the biggest action is now going on from the administration here. A team of officers is also present at the spot. Swift action is going on in the presence of top officers. Bulldozer action is being taken by the state government in Bet-Dwarka of Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat. Let us tell you that under this, action is being taken today against about 45-50 illegal residential and commercial structures in Balpar area of Bet Dwarka.
The campaign started in 2022
Keeping coastal security in mind, the demolition drive was started from Bet Dwarka itself in 2022. After this, action has been taken against illegal constructions in many districts including Devbhoomi Dwarka, Kutch, Porbandar, Junagadh. According to intelligence agencies, coastal areas were becoming centers of many types of illegal activities. This is the second round of demolition in Bet Dwarka, because in the re-survey conducted after the demolition in 2022, information about many more illegal constructions was found, after which this action is being taken now.
