The bulldozer of Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) in areas like Mussoorie, Rishikesh and Vikasnagar including Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun is constantly in action. Under the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, the authority has initiated a rampage on illegal plotting, buildings built without maps and illegal occupations.
Wherever the violation of the rules found, the bulldozer is reaching there
MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari has clearly stated that no construction work can be done without following the rules. It is mandatory to pass the map, arrange parking and follow other conditions before the construction of the building. If a disturbance is found in any complaint or inspection, the authority takes directly bulldozers action without any political or administrative pressure.

• Demanding on illegal plotting done at 100 bighas in Langha Road, Chharba (Sahaspur) in Vikasnagar.
• Sealing on illegal warehouse construction at Vishnupuram Majra.
• Bulldozers ran on illegal plotting done on 1-1.5 bigha land on Haridwar bypass road.
• The four -storey illegal building at Shiva Temple, Rishikesh was sealed.
• Two -storey illegal building in Pashulok displaced area was sealing.
• Action on shops and buildings in Shyampur, Rishikesh.
• 6 illegal shops were sealed on Shimla bypass road.
‘Bulldozer Vikas’ became the face
Chief Minister Dhami is engaged in the mission to bring Uttarakhand under the category of developed states of the country. The government is not only limited to removing encroachment, but is also getting parks, beautification and development of smart intersections on land freed from illegal occupation. The strictness of the government on plotting and construction based on fake papers in the border settlements of Dehradun and other cities has stirred the land mafia.
