In Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district, the police bulldozed the house of the maternal grandfather who raped an innocent girl. The accused had built a house by occupying government land. According to SP Gaurav Yadav, this case came to light about ten days ago in Suratgarh. The accused is the maternal grandfather of the victim. Seeing her alone in the house, he raped the innocent girl. Taking immediate action, the police bulldozed the house of the accused, which was built by occupying government land. He said that action against criminals will continue under the zero tolerance policy.
Suratgarh City Police Station in-charge Dalip Singh said that according to the registered case, the victim’s mother works as a cook in people’s houses. At the time of the incident, she had gone to work. She had two daughters at home. Meanwhile, the accused took advantage of the situation and reached home and committed the crime of rape. When the mother returned home, the girl was crying. When she saw the condition of the daughter, the incident was revealed. After this, the family took the girl to the hospital, where she was treated.
On receiving the information, the City Police Station immediately reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Women Crime Cell CO Ramkaran investigated the case and the MOB and FSL team collected evidence from the scene. The police took immediate action by bulldozing the house of the accused in just ten days. SP Gaurav Yadav said that the houses of drug smugglers are already being bulldozed, but now even rapists will not be spared.
