Gaikwad said, “Those who are accusing me, I ask them why they do not speak against Shetty people, who came to Maharashtra and damaged our culture? I am not taking the name of South, but those who are running dance bars, ladies bars and other times, have spoiled the atmosphere here.” He also said that Balasaheb Thackeray also campaigned on this. According to Gaikwad, “Those who damaged the culture of Maharashtra, ruined our youth, should stop their businesses. I ask these parties, why don’t you speak against those who destroy our culture?”
Manager was suspended
Gaikwad also admitted that his anger behavior was wrong, but he said that his intention was right. “I want to tell that action was taken on the manager in the afternoon that day and was suspended. He was not a waiter, I should first make it clear,” Gaikwad said. He also said that after the incident, FDA canceled the canteen license. Buldhana MLA of Shiv Sena on Wednesday beat up one employee in the canteen of Akashvani MLA Hostel in Colaba, Mumbai and misbehaved with the other. The incident was condemned not only by the opposition, but also by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The report will come in two weeks
The FDA of the state has suspended the license of the contractor of the All India Radio Canteen due to the old food accused by Gaikwad. FDA has taken 16 types of food samples from the canteen, including pulses stated by Gaikwad. These samples have been sent to the lab in Bandra to check and the decision will be taken only after the report. The FDA said that the action has been automatically taken and the report will come in two weeks.
