Hyderabad: Such devotion to Rama that Ram Ram wrote on rice grains for nine years. This Ram devotee is a 50-year-old micro-artist Malliist Malli Vishnu Vandana. He has converted his devotion into a complex art style. Vandana offers Lord Rama’s name on rice grains and offers him to temples on Ram Navami.
Vandana, a resident of Chandannagar in Hyderabad, wrote the name of Lord Ram on 1.75 lakh rice grains this year and is divided into about 60 temples in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra and West Bengal. Vandana says – I take about an hour to write the name of Lord Ram on more than 100 grains. With the unwavering support of her husband Narasimhara, I dedicate 10 hours daily for this work. Vandana says that everyone knows the remembrance of God. My main objective is to say that praying to God will help in the safety of the family. So I am writing the name of Lord Rama for his welfare.
Vandana ensures that ‘Purambar’ i.e. 15 days before Ram Navami is completed for timely distribution. Vandana, originally from Sullurpeta, started this unique spiritual journey in 2016 and since then he has mentioned the name of Lord Ram on about 10.5 lakh rice grains. Over the years, there has been an increase in the offerings they offered in various temples. In 2017, he presented 1,11,111 covels to Kodanda Ram Temple in Ontimitta. In 2020 and 2021, the 50 -year -old offered 1,01,116 pity at Bala Anjaneya Temple in Sulurpeta and Sitaramanjaneya Temple in Kondapur. In 2023, he presented 1,01,116 pity to the Bhadrachalam temple and 50,116 pity to the Ayodhya Temple.
