On Thursday, a huge uproar broke out in a government school in Bihar’s West Champaran district over mid-day meal. The headmaster objected to the teachers eating the mid-day meal before the students. An assistant teacher got angry at this and beat up the headmaster in front of the students. Angry at the beating, the students blocked the Bettiah-Mainatad road. This resulted in a long queue of vehicles. On receiving the information, MLA Virendra Gupta also reached the spot and got the jam cleared by persuading the students and took the children to school.
This incident is from the Higher Secondary School of Purbi Pakuhwa of Mainatad block. According to the information, during the break, assistant teacher Sunil Kumar and three-four other teachers were eating food. Then the headmaster Satyendra Kumar came and said that first let the students eat, then you people can eat. He opposed the assistant teachers eating the mid-day meal before the students.
Assistant teacher Sunil Kumar got furious on this and clashed with the headmaster Satyendra Kumar. After this, he started beating the headmaster. Due to the beating, the headmaster got seriously injured. Blood started flowing from his mouth. He was immediately taken to the community health center and treated.

Teacher beaten for sending obscene messages to student
The students of the school said that there is a great lack of resources in the school. Due to the absence of fans, they face a lot of difficulty in studying in the scorching heat. There are toilets but they are not clean. Also, there is no facility for drinking clean water.
Meanwhile, BEO Krishna Kumari said that she has received information about the case. After investigation, a letter will be written to senior officials for taking action against the guilty teachers. The case of fighting in the school is not tolerable.
MLA Virendra Gupta said that fighting between a headmaster and a teacher in the school premises will not be tolerated at all. Action should be taken against both. I have called DPO Establishment and informed him about the whole matter and asked him to investigate and take action.
