Chaos over Jiwaji University results, 150 girl students of a college got zero marks

Gwalior’s Jiwaji University remains in the news for its exploits. The latest case is related to the B.Com results. Recently, Jiwaji University declared its B.Com results. 150 students studying B.Com in the Government Vijayraje Girls School Murar under it were given zero marks, while one thousand students were given supplementary in the same subject. Angry students are protesting in Jiwaji University. However, the university administration says that this has happened due to technical fault. The matter is being investigated.

Today hundreds of NSUI workers and students reached the bungalow of Jiwaji University Vice Chancellor Avinash Tiwari. They protested fiercely here. During this, clashes were also seen between the police and the students. Some students involved in the protest were trying to enter the bungalow of Vice Chancellor Professor Avinash Tiwari. During this, some students even climbed the gate. Here, there was a fierce clash between the police and the students.

After the university results were declared, the students raised questions on this. The students say that the university has failed 1000 students of our class by giving them supplementary marks in the same subject and 150 students by giving them zero marks. How can this happen? The students also say that all our answer sheets should be checked again in front of us.

The students also raised questions on the copy checking process of the university and said that the list of all those who check the copies should be made public, so that we know what is the qualification of those who check the copies? Paras Yadav, president of Jiwaji University unit of NSUI, who reached the protest, made serious allegations against the university administration. He said that the university is a center of scams where a gang of copy checking is working. The copies here are sent for checking on contract. There, uneducated people check them. Fifty percent commission from their remuneration is already taken by people associated with the university.

The university’s registrar listened to the students and assured them that whatever problems they have will be resolved soon. Regarding this matter, Jiwaji University’s Vice Chancellor Avinash Tiwari said that this mistake has happened due to technical reasons. This matter is being investigated and corrected. He said that if the students are demanding to have their copies checked again, then they can get it done.
