Chhath Puja: Three lakh 30 thousand 149 rupees have been spent on the pond built for idol immersion on the occasion of Durga Puja at Kanganghat in Patna City, the same amount has been spent on Kila Ghat. Rs 3 lakh 30 thousand 146 were spent on the pond built at Damrahi Ghat.
Chhath Puja: 13 crore 40 lakhs will be spent on cleaning, repairing and connecting roads of the ghats being built in the Ganga and ponds for Chhath. Maximum Rs 49.38 lakh will be spent on Bansghat. Rs 10 lakh has been spent on the pond built in the Ganga river for idol immersion on the occasion of Dussehra. The Municipal Corporation has given this report to the district administration regarding the preparation of ghats on the banks of river Ganga and ponds, in which it has been mentioned.
Barricading, lighting arrangements and contact roads will be made at various ghats of Patliputra zone and Azimabad zone. One to four lakh rupees will be spent on decoration and barricading of Chhath ghats built in parks and ponds. In this, details of the expenses of the arrangements made on the occasion of Kartik Purnima at some ghats are also given.
