Chhattisgarh anti-naxal operation: A big news has come out from Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, where two women Naxalites have been killed in a fierce encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the early hours of Thursday. Due to this action, the Maad division operating in the Naxal -affected Abujhmad area is being described as very weak, which is a big success for the security forces.

How did the operation happen?

Security agencies had received secret information about the activities of Naxalites in the forests of Abujhmad. On this information, teams of Special Task Force (STF) and District Reserve Guard (DRG) of Kondagaon district started a joint campaign. When the teams were searching in the area, the Naxalites started firing on them, in response to which the security forces also took the front and the encounter started.

Arms and Naxalite goods recovered

Police said that when the area was searched after the firing stopped, the bodies of two women Naxalites were recovered. An INSAS rifle, a 315 rifle, medicines and Naxalite literature have also been received from him. Police say that Abujhmad is a very inaccessible and dense forest area, where this action on the Modes is a major setback for the Naxalites. At present, the campaign of security forces is going on in Kohkamata police station area and a search operation is in full swing in the entire area so that no other Naxalites can escape.

Big campaign against Naxalism continues

This encounter is part of the ongoing major campaign against Naxalism. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted to make India Naxal -free by March 2026. Under this, security forces are continuously running major operations on Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and borders with them.
