The body of a soldier from Chhattisgarh was found hanging in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi on Thursday. As soon as the news spread, there was panic in the area. The incident took place in Pokhar Toli of Airport police station area of Ranchi. It is being told that the soldier was working in NDRF. The name of the deceased soldier is Jai Lakra, his body was found hanging from a tree. It has not been confirmed yet whether he was murdered or committed suicide.
This morning there was a stir in the village when the villagers saw a dead body hanging from a tree. The local police was informed about the discovery of the dead body. After this, police reached the spot and also interrogated people about it. The body was taken down from the tree and identified. Preliminary investigation revealed that the person who died was an NDRF soldier.
Police are prima facie considering it as a case of suicide, but are not ruling out any other type of incident. The police is investigating in every way. The people of the village are being interrogated. With this the body has been sent for post-mortem. Let us tell you that in the last one year, incidents of death of 13 police, paramilitary and army personnel have come to light in Jharkhand. These soldiers who died either committed suicide or died due to firing from their own weapons. Thus, there is a matter of concern in both cases.
