The political stir has intensified due to the assembly elections to be held in the end of 2025 in Bihar. Every party is engaged in strengthening its alliance and forming a new strategy. Meanwhile, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan has put a big statement and put an end to political speculation. Recently, Chirag Paswan and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav met in Nawada district. After this it was started to discuss that both parties could move towards an agreement before the election. But Chirag Paswan clearly stated that he would not aligned with RJD under any circumstances.
Our ideological differences
He said, “There are definitely family relationships between me and Tejashwi Yadav, but our ideological differences are so deep that any kind of coordination is not possible. If this had to happen, we would have come together in the 2020 election. At that time I had decided to contest the election alone.” Chirag also said that he met Tejashwi only on family basis. He congratulated Tejashwi on the birth of the son and said, “I am happy that my nephew is born. Our conversation was social, it should not be taken out political.”
When will Bihar elections be held?
The tenure of the current government in Bihar is being completed on 22 November 2025. In such a situation, it is believed that elections will be held in the state in late October or early November. This time too, the main contest will be between NDA (BJP, JDU, LJP, HAM and RLSP) and Grand Alliance (RJD, Congress). As the elections are getting closer, the politics of statements and alliances of the leaders has increased the heat. In the coming time, it will be interesting to see which alliance will win the trust of the people.
