Uttarakhand news: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday launched the ‘e-Rupi’ system based on modern technology at the Secretariat. On this occasion, he also launched four ambitious agricultural policies (Kiwi policy, dragon fruit, apple harvesting and millet mission) to give a new direction to the agricultural system of the state.
On this occasion, CM Dhami said that the government will soon formulate a flower and honey policy in the state. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the e-Rupi system is a new initiative for the food producers of the state. The e-couple system will become a new medium of transparent, fast and middle-free digital payment for farmers. Under this system, the amount of subsidy received by farmers in pilot projects will be sent directly to their mobiles through e-voucher (SMS or QR code), which they will be able to use to buy fertilizer, seeds, medicines etc. from authorized centers or sellers.
Instructions for village awareness given to officers given to officers
For the successful implementation of the e-Rupi system, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to make farmers aware by organizing training programs in every village, so that they can take proper advantage of this technology. The purpose of all these initiatives is to strengthen agriculture and employment in the mountainous and plains of the state, so that problems like migration can also be effectively controlled. These schemes will prove to be a milestone in making Uttarakhand self -reliant, strong and a leading state in agriculture. CM Dhami said at the inauguration of four agricultural schemes, all these schemes will promote the state’s agricultural diversity and will form the basis for increasing the income of farmers.
CM participated in Tricolor Shaurya Yatra
CM Dhami participated in the tricolor Shaurya Samman Yatra in Haldwani in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The yatra was dedicated to the success of Operation Sindoor run by the Indian Armed Forces and the invasion of Pakistan effectively. The tricolor Shaurya Samman Yatra was held from Mini Stadium Haldwani to Shaheed Park. Thousands of citizens including youth, women, ex -servicemen participated in the padyatra with tricolor. The Chief Minister also paid floral chakra at the martyr site and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India had run Operation Sindoor to attack the terrorist structure in Pakistan. An official release said that the Chief Minister saluted the brave soldiers participating in Operation Sindoor and said that India has once again proved that it is fully capable of taking decisive action against terrorism.
