Uttarakhand news: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while reviewing the game Changer schemes of the Industries Department held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, directed the officials to work more rapidly towards grounding of investment proposals received at the Investors Summit.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that investors’ facilities and facilities should be taken care of to promote investment in the state. The Chief Minister instructed the high officials to maintain regular contact with the top fifty investors investing in the state and said that investment friends should be deployed for the convenience of investors. The Chief Minister also instructed to continuously monitor the process ranging from Ease of Doing Business, Enterprise Registration to Land allocation and make the single window system more simplified.
The Chief Minister said that under the CM Swarozgar Yojana, the number of beneficiaries should be increased further. This scheme is proving to be very effective in the state. So far, about thirty five thousand people have benefited from this scheme. Efforts should be made to benefit more and more youth from these policies along with widely publicizing all the new policies brought in the state. Along with promoting the state’s products under the export policy, people associated with export should also be encouraged. The Chief Minister gave priority to handloom, homestay and agro-based small scale industries in the mountainous districts and also directed to open the Youth Incubation Center by connecting the Startup Policy with the Department of Industries.
Ambitious plan
In the meeting, Secretary Industry Vinay Shankar Pandey said that the SPV has been formed for the implementation of the ambitious scheme for the construction of integrated manufacturing clusters with world-class infrastructure facilities in 1002 acres in Khurpia Farm under Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor. With the construction of this project costing Rs 1265 crore, about 22 thousand people will get employment. An amount of Rs 207 crore has been released by the central government for this project. To promote entrepreneurship, the construction of 280 units in Haridwar, 18 units in Pantnagar and 12 units in Selakui are in progress.
The meeting was attended by Vishwas Dabur, Vice President of the Monitoring Council, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, R. Meenakshi Sundaram and officials of the Department of Industry were present.
