A contempt case has been filed against the CBI on Friday in the kidnapping case of five-year-old Khushi of Pamaria Tola, Brahmapura, Muzaffarpur city, Bihar. Om Prakash Gupta, the lawyer of Khushi’s father Rajan Sah, has filed a contempt case in Patna High Court. He said that the court had ordered the CBI to investigate this case on priority, but it does not seem so. He said that the court has accepted the contempt case. Its hearing will be held soon.
Meanwhile, Khushi’s father Rajan Sah said that for the past one month, no one has tried to contact them. Rajan Sah and other family members had several times requested the CBI IO to interrogate some youths of Laxmi Chowk fish market by giving their names. The family believes that investigation in the fish market can reveal information about the girl.
CBI has been investigating the case for about one and a half years
The CBI, which has been investigating the Khushi kidnapping case for about one and a half years, has questioned the family and close relatives. Khushi’s photo was sent to schools and information was sought about a girl of this age and appearance. The CBI has also investigated hospitals and children’s homes, but no clue of Khushi was found. Let us tell you that on 16 February 2021, Khushi went missing while playing in the Saraswati Puja pandal near her house in Pamaria Tola. A case was registered at Brahmapura police station.
Khushi kidnapping case: Demand for polygraphy of police investigation officers
This case is three years old. This incident is from Brahmpura police station area of Muzaffarpur. During Saraswati Puja, Khushi, just five years old, was kidnapped when she was playing in a Puja pandal near her house. A complaint was lodged in Brahmpura police station in this case. When Bihar Police could not find Khushi, the case was handed over to CBI. But the central investigation agency has not got any success till now.
