A couple and her 12 -year -old son allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Tapi River in Surat, Gujarat. A police officer gave information on Friday. Police Inspector Eddie Chavda said that the entire incident took place on Thursday night. He further said that in the initial investigation, it has been revealed that he had suffered a lot of damage in the stock market. For this reason, he was unable to repay personal debt, due to which he committed suicide. The deceased have been identified as Vipul Prajapati and his wife Sarita Prajapati, while his son has been identified as Vraj.

Couple commits suicide in Surat

He said that the woman was struggling with mental problems, which was undergoing treatment. On Thursday night, the family left their house in Chowk Bazar area of ​​Surat city and jumped from a bridge near the Galteshwar temple to the Tapni river. In the morning, when a passerby saw the dead body in the river, the police was informed about it. He said that the bodies were taken out with the help of fire brigade. We identified him with the Aadhaar card found in a wallet found on the bridge. According to the information, the deceased were mainly residents of Bhavnagar who settled in Surat. Vipul Prajapati had no definite source of income. He worked temporarily in factories.

Let me tell you that in another case today, in the case of mass suicide of 4 members of the same family in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat, one accused is detained. The police team is engaged in investigating several more accused. In the past, after the death of 4 people in the Sagar family of Wadali, the police team has taken action on the complaint lodged in the name of the survived daughter. Explain that even after the state government enacted strict laws against the users, the whole family committed suicide in Wadali. The accused has been arrested by the police due to the complaint on the basis of the statement of the remaining daughter.
