A decoration operator was brutally murdered in Hilsa police station area of Nalanda district. The accused killed him by hitting him with bricks and stones, then threw the body in the toilet tank.

A decoration cum DJ operator was brutally murdered in Bihar’s Nalanda district. The incident took place in Indaut village of Hilsa police station area. The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar, a resident of Damodarpur village of Chiksaura police station area. It is being told that Santosh was killed by crushing him with bricks and stones, then the body was thrown into the toilet tank. Police have arrested an accused in this case. His interrogation is going on. The reason for the murder has not been revealed yet. There are various discussions among the people. Some people are linking it to a robbery incident, while some are saying that the murder was due to an illicit relationship.
The family said that Santosh Kumar works as a decorator and DJ. On September 15, Vikku Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Maranchi village, had booked decorations for a wedding and birthday party. After this, Santosh along with his son Rohit Kumar reached the house of a female relative of Vikku. Vikku asked them to stay there for the night. At night, he along with his companions beat up Santosh and his son with sticks. During the assault, Rohit fell unconscious. Then the accused brought Santosh home and killed him and threw his body in the toilet tank.

When the husband and son did not return home even after two days, the wife lodged a complaint at the police station. After this, the police swung into action and took the youth who had booked the decoration into custody and strictly interrogated him. The accused said that after the murder, the body was thrown into the tank. On his indication, the police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. DSP Sumit Kumar said that the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated. The case will be disclosed soon. The body has been handed over to the family after postmortem.
