Delhi Election 2025: After the announcement of the dates of assembly elections in Delhi, now everyone’s eyes are on the second list of Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP has so far released its list for Delhi Assembly seats in which names of 29 candidates were declared. The last date for nomination for the assembly elections in Delhi is January 17. BJP’s Central Election Committee is going to meet in Delhi tomorrow (Friday) and it is believed that during this meeting, the names of the candidates for the remaining seats of Delhi will be approved. Before the Central Election Committee meeting, party president Jagat Prakash Nadda will take stock of the election preparations of the Delhi unit today. He will also brainstorm with the State Election Committee and other election committees regarding the assembly elections.

Party President Nadda will take stock of the preparations today

Bharatiya Janata Party has been in power in Delhi since 1998 and this time the party is trying to end the drought of the last 27 years. A top Delhi BJP official says that the current assembly elections are very important for the party and hence the party leadership is making efforts to remove all the shortcomings in election preparations. He said that during today’s meeting of party president Nadda, the campaign run by the party so far and the feedback received at the grassroots level will be reviewed. BJP is considering AAP as its main contest in Delhi elections and the party’s counter strategy is being prepared accordingly.

Candidates are yet to be announced for 41 seats

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched BJP’s election campaign in Delhi with two big meetings. The first list of 29 candidates was released by the BJP a day before PM Modi’s rally on January 5. There are 70 assembly seats in Delhi and the names of 41 candidates are still awaited from the party. Due to the party not declaring the names of candidates for so many seats, the campaign is also being affected. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has declared the names of its candidates for all 70 seats long ago and due to this, AAP’s campaign has also intensified.

Final approval will be given in tomorrow’s meeting

Informed sources associated with BJP say that after discussions with Delhi leaders, the names of candidates for most of the seats have been finalized. Now these names will be discussed during the Central Election Committee meeting to be held tomorrow. The names of the candidates will be finalized during this meeting only. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and other top leaders of the party will also be present in this meeting. Party sources say that after the names of the candidates are decided, a vigorous campaign will be started by the party. For this also a strategy has been prepared by the party.

Big leaders including PM will participate in the campaign

According to the strategy prepared by the party, a program of meetings of big leaders of the party has been prepared in all the assembly constituencies of Delhi. There are preparations to launch a sharp attack on AAP and Congress through these meetings. In the coming days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other prominent BJP leaders will hold election meetings in various assembly constituencies of Delhi. Apart from big leaders, local leaders of Delhi BJP will also actively participate in the campaign.

Preparation of tempting promises in the manifesto

BJP has not yet released its manifesto for Delhi elections. According to a BJP leader, the party’s manifesto has been prepared and will be released after the approval of the national leadership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already clearly said that free schemes will not be stopped in Delhi. Looking at all the announcements made by Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, it is believed that BJP can also make attractive promises to the voters of Delhi.

To gain the support of women voters, the party is also preparing to play the Laadli Brahmin card. The promises made by BJP regarding women during the assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Maharashtra have shown a big impact. In response to AAP’s Mahila Samman Yojana, a strategy has been prepared to play Mahila Ladli Brahmin card in Delhi.
