Crime News: A decomposed body of a woman has been found inside a fridge in a house in Dewas city of Madhya Pradesh. After this, a former tenant has been detained for questioning. Police said that the deceased woman was wearing saree and jewelery and her hands were tied. Along with this, there was a noose around the neck. It seems to the police that he might have been murdered last year.
According to the police, this incident took place in house number 128 located in Vrindavan Dham Colony in Bank Note Press Police Station area. This house belongs to Dhirendra Srivastava, he lives in Indore. Dhirendra had given his house on rent to Sanjay Patidar of Ujjain in June 2023. After a year, Patidar vacated the house, but did not vacate the two rooms – study room and bedroom. He said he would vacate it later. The Patidar used to come home occasionally. He had told the landlord that he would transfer the rent to them online. Although he was also paying the rent online.
The incident came to light due to power supply shutdown
After this the landlord hired a new tenant. The new tenant asked the landlord to unlock this part of the house. The landlord showed this part of the house to the tenant, but closed it again because the Patidar’s belongings were inside. After this the power supply inside the room was also switched off. The incident came to light when the fridge stopped working after the power supply was cut off. In fact, due to the refrigerator being switched off, a foul smell started coming from that part of the house. After this, the new tenant called the landlord from Indore and when he opened the room, he found the dead body of the woman inside the fridge.
The murder would have taken place in June 2024
This incident has created a stir. After this, after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took out the body of the woman kept in the fridge. Police said that the woman would be around 30 years old. Police suspect that he may have been murdered in June 2024. The police have taken the accused Patidar into custody and he is being interrogated.
