Police said that in Lalunga police station area of Raigarh district, late on Wednesday night, a husband killed his wife over a minor dispute. The accused husband has been arrested. After the incident, the police started further action on the information of the case. Pancharam Pando, who lives in Phulikunda, went to Laripani weekly market with his wife Sumari Pando. Both of them did shopping here. Sumari asked him to buy some clothes for herself. On this, Pancharam refused to buy clothes. In such a situation, a dispute started between the two.
Both of them were returning home from the market. When the dispute between them did not end, Panchram left her halfway and went home alone. After this, the woman also reached home. At around 11 o’clock in the night, they again started arguing about not getting the clothes and leaving them on the way. During this, Panchram hit Sumari hard on the back of her head and near the eye with the wood used to light the stove in the house. Due to this, Sumari died on the spot.
Lalunga police said that after receiving information about the incident, the spot was inspected. The wood with which he hit his wife on the head has been seized. It is being told that both of them had a love marriage about four years ago and they also have a small child. The police have arrested the accused.
