The Meteorological Department said that due to the activation of western disturbance on October 9 and 10, there are chances of cloudy rain. However, no alert of heavy rain has been issued. There is a possibility of clear weather on 11th and 12th October. According to information received from the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Shimla has dropped by more than 3 degrees on Sunday.

This may increase the effect of winter in hilly areas. He said that there is no possibility of snowfall on the mountain ranges of the state at present.
According to the Meteorological Department report, 22 mm rainfall was recorded in Una last night. There was 18 mm rainfall in Jot, 15 in Bijahi, 10 in Gohar, three in Jogindernagar and two mm each in Kangra and Palampur. A strong storm blew at a speed of 53 kilometers per hour in Neri and Bilaspur of Hamirpur district.

Minimum mercury was 5.8 degrees in Keylong, 8.5 degrees in Samdho, 10.1 degrees in Dalhousie, 10.2 degrees in Mashobra, 11.9 degrees in Manali, 13.1 in Bharmour, 13.5 degrees in Palampur, 14 in Solan, 14.5 in Bhuntar, 15-15 in Dharamshala and Una.
