Bombs have been thrown and bullets have been fired at the house of West Bengal BJP leader Arjun Singh. BJP leader has given this information by tweeting. He said that the attack took place at 8:30 in the morning. Arjun Singh is a resident of North 24 Parganas and the attack was carried out on his home office there. Singh claimed that he also suffered minor injuries due to the bomb. Arjun Singh has also posted a video in this regard on X. He wrote in the caption with this video, ‘This morning when everyone was busy in Durga Puja, many Jihadis and goons attacked my house. This attack was carried out under the leadership of Namit Singh, an accused in NIA cases.
He said that the son of the local TMC councilor is also involved in this attack. My house and office have been attacked by them. Not only this, he also accused the police of not taking any action during the attack and remaining a silent spectator. He said that these people threw 15 bombs at my house and fired about a dozen times. The video shared by Arjun Singh is going viral, but it has not been independently confirmed. Many eyewitnesses also said that such a large number of bombs were thrown that there was complete darkness on the spot.
Arjun Singh’s house comes under Jagatdal police station of North 24 Parganas. On this incident, a police station official said that till now there is no information about anyone getting injured. Police force has been sent to the spot for investigation. Apart from this, additional forces have also been deployed to handle the arrangements. Arjun Singh had also been in TMC earlier. He lost the Lok Sabha elections against TMC’s Partha Bhowmik. Meanwhile, local TMC MLA Somnath Shyam has termed Arjun Singh’s allegations as false. He said that Singh himself had fired 4 rounds.
