Coronavirus
After the death of top officials of the health department and a doctor in Indore due to the corona epidemic, now the fear of it is visible among doctors as well. Out of 92 doctors who recently completed their medical studies from Gwalior’s Gajra Raja Medical College, 50 have resigned. All of them were junior resident doctors who were hired on contract on April 1 to fight corona. It is believed that these doctors have agreed to pay ₹500000 later in exchange for the bond they were made to fill for this job.
GRMC has confirmed that the doctors have resigned. According to GRMC management, on the orders of the government, after completion of their internship, we had appointed 92 doctors on contractual appointment for three months for the emergency in Covid-19.
Meanwhile, a new order of the Medical Registration Council came, which said that doctors who are willing can offer services. As soon as the word ‘willing’ came in the order, 50 doctors immediately resigned, which has been accepted. On Wednesday, the government implemented ESMA. Now if any doctor resigns, it will not be accepted.
