Haryana News: In Haryana, illegal networks for female feticide are running on a large scale. The disclosure of this has been revealed by a sting operation in Hisar by a media channel. Here packages have been made to kill daughters in women’s womb. There is a package of only 2 lakh rupees, in which the pregnant woman is being conducted in the womb of a child in the womb and an abortion is being done when having a daughter.
Law made to stop female feticide, not benefit
The PC-PNDT Act was implemented in 1994 to prevent female feticide. The purpose of this act was to detect or stop the sex of the child in the stomach. But this act was limited to paper and could not succeed in saving daughters. According to media reports, illegal networks for female feticide are still running in Haryana and its surrounding areas, which is quite large and strong.
Government took action when it is revealed
On disclosing this illegal work going on in Haryana, the government has now suspended Dr. Prabhu Dayal, Deputy Civil Surgeon, Hisar Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr. Prabhu Dayal, taking cognizance of female feticide. Sudhir Rajpal, Chief Secretary, Health Department, has issued an order, in which information about the suspension of Dr. Prabhu has been given, as well as stated that he will be posted in Bhiwani during suspension. Apart from this, the government has also formed the State Task Force to prevent female feticide.
However, people are not happy with this move of the government. On social media, people described Dr. Prabhu Dayal as honest and good officer and said that the government is punishing honest officers instead of punishing the mafia who conduct abortion and people involved in this work.
