6 people died tragically in a road accident in Gujarat.
Patan: 6 people died tragically in a horrific road accident in Patan district of Gujarat on Thursday. The accident occurred at around 11:30 pm near Sami village on Sami-Radhanpur highway, when an autorickshaw and Gujarat State Transport Corporation bus collided strongly. Superintendent of Police of Patan District V.K. Nai said that the accident occurred when the transport corporation bus going from Himmatnagar to Kutch hit an autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The collision was so severe that the auto flew away and its parts got stuck under the bus.
This accident happened in trying to overtake!
Giving information about this, the SP further said that all the 6 people on the autorickshaw died on the spot, including the driver. Initial investigation on the accident has revealed that the bus driver lost control in an attempt to overtake and hit the auto. The police has started investigating the case from every angle. On receiving the information of the incident, Radhanpur MLA and BJP leader Lavingji Thakor also reached the spot and expressed condolences to the dead.
An accident took place by bus in Rajkot, Gujarat
Let me tell you that on Wednesday, an electric bus run for the local municipal corporation in Rajkot city of Gujarat hit several vehicles while passing through a traffic signal, in which 4 people died and 4 others were injured. The CCTV footage revealed that the bus did not stop at the signal near Indira Circle at the city’s ‘150 foot ring road’ at around 10 am, and stopped at some distance, hitting at least 2 four-wheelers and 6 two-wheelers.
