Three people were killed and four others seriously injured in a collision between a truck and a car on the Nipani-Devgad state highway in Maharashtra on Wednesday morning. After the collision, the truck driver fled from the spot with his vehicle, police said.
The police have identified the deceased as Shubham Chandrakant Dhavare (28), Akash Anand Parit (23) and Rohan Sambhaji Lohar (24).
According to Radhanagari police, seven people were travelling in a car to their home in Solankur village via Sarvade-Mangewadi in Radhanagari tehsil. During this time, this accident happened, in which three people in the car died on the spot, while four others were seriously injured. All the injured were admitted to Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Hospital.
The injured have been identified as Rutwik Rajendra Patil, Bharat Dhanaji Patil, Saurabh Suresh Teli and Sambhaji Lohar.
