Rahul Gandhi: On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi was in Darbhanga, Bihar on Thursday. Where he addressed the students in Ambedkar Hostel. He did not get approval from the administration there for this program. After which he went to the hostel to meet the students on foot. An FIR has been registered against twenty people, including Rahul Gandhi and Congress workers, in connection with organizing ‘Education, Justice Dialogue’ program without the approval of the administration. At the same time, an FIR has also been registered against more than 100 unknown people.
Why FIR registered
The case is of Ambedkar Kalyan Hostel in Darbhanga, where Rahul Gandhi interacted with the students on Thursday. Actually, this program was organized under the ‘Public Relations Campaign’ of the Congress. But the district administration had already refused to allow the program and suggested an alternative site for the program. The proposal was turned down by the Congress and it was decided to remain adamant on the schedule. Despite the administration’s ban, Rahul Gandhi reached the hostel premises and addressed the students. It is being told that he entered the premises by some other route instead of the main road. Despite all the objections of the administration and the police, the program was organized, which raised questions about law and order.
FIR registered on these people
After this entire program, the administration, taking a tough stand, was lodged by Magistrate Khurshid Alam at the first FIR Laheriyasarai police station, alleging violation of Section BNS 163 (which used to be Section 144). The second FIR was lodged on the complaint of District Welfare Officer Alok Kumar, in which the hostel is accused of forcibly entering the hostel premises and organizing the program. The FIR included the leaders named in the FIR, apart from Rahul Gandhi, former Congress President Madan Mohan Jha, MLA Shakeel Ahmed Khan, State President Rajesh Ram, Deputy Mayor Nazia Hasan and famous student leader Mashkur Usmani.
