No casualties due to fire
The fire department official said that no casualties were reported in the fire at around 6.30 am. He said that 13 fire engines were installed on the spot and the fire was controlled. A statement in this regard has been issued by ‘National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited’ (NHSRCL), which is looking after the project work. According to the statement issued, a fire was reported in shuttering on the roof of a part of the construction site. It said that welding sparks are believed to be a possible cause of the fire.
