A fierce fire has caught fire in the solar plant under construction in Bhathiwada, Dahod, Gujarat. This 70 MW solar plant is the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The fire started at around 9 o’clock in the night and due to the wind, it spread so fast that more than Rs 400 crore in the plant was completely burnt. Most of these goods were kept here, solar panels, transformers, cables were kept here. NTPC employees reached the spot as soon as the fire was reported, but by then the fire was so infuriated that it became difficult to control it.

Fire brigade vehicles from Dahod and nearby districts are trying to control the fire but have not yet achieved success. The fire is extinguishing, but the goods are such that the sparks are starting to come out again, due to which there is a problem in controlling the complete control. 95 percent of the plant’s goods have been burnt down. Fire brigade vehicles have been called on the spot from some other places, but the fire is still erupted.
Fear of conspiracy, stone pelting on the plant during the day
At the same time, it is feared that this fire has been set by anti -social elements. Some people from nearby villages had objected to the solar plant and they were repeatedly interrupting it. However, the matter was resolved after the police arrived. On Monday, the plant was stoned on Monday. Pictures of stone pelting were captured in CCTV. The employees of the plant were also injured due to stone pelting, they have been admitted to the hospital. The police have started investigating the cause of the fire.
Big police officers reached the place of the plant
Big police officers including DSP Dr. Rajdeep Singh Jhala have reached the spot. NTPC did fencing work in the presence of police force from 4 April to 18 April. The work was stopped when people protested two days ago. After this, it was agreed to start the work from Monday, but when the work started on Monday, a person from the village came on a motorcycle and threatened to see if the work was not stopped. He brought with him five seven people of the village and started stone pelting.
