The son used to play mobile games all the time, so the mother used to interrupt him many times and then she used to remain quiet thinking that he has grown up and must be watching things of his own interest. A 17-year-old boy addicted to Fire Free game jumped from the third floor. He died in the incident. According to the mother of the deceased Aditya Mahor, he had once asked how much injury one gets when one falls from the roof.
There is a residential colony under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on the outskirts of Morena city. A teenager working at a sweet shop committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the building. His parents came to know about this when at 5:00 in the morning a young man living in the neighborhood told them that their son is lying down from the roof. The teenager’s family rushed him to the district hospital Morena but by then it was too late, the doctors referred him to Gwalior in critical condition. He died in Gwalior.
17-year-old Aditya Mahor worked at a sweet shop in Bengaluru. His father Brajesh Mahor also worked there. Aditya used to play games on his mobile all the time. He was fond of Fire Free games. Whenever he came to Morena, he used to be busy playing games. One day, while eating, he asked his mother how much injury a person gets when he jumps from the third floor. On hearing this, his mother scolded him and asked him why he was talking such nonsense. Now, after his son jumped from the roof, she came to know the reason behind his question.
According to the mother of the deceased, the son had come to Morena on 27 August. The son was very happy to come home but he spoke less. Most of the time he used to play games on mobile. He kept playing games the whole night on Tuesday. He was playing games till 3:30 in the morning. When he could not sleep while playing the game, he got up at 4:00 in the morning and went to the roof of the building. He jumped from there.
Locals said that there is a three feet high wall around the roof of the building. After the death of the teenager, the police conducted a postmortem of the body. The family members of the deceased were present here, they told how the teenager fell prey to mobile games.
