A tragic accident has been witnessed in Surat, Gujarat. Seven people got burnt after a gas cylinder caught fire in a building here on Wednesday morning. Officials informed about this. The local people immediately informed the fire department. A fire department official said that the incident took place at around 6 am on the second floor of the Krishna Complex building located in Katargam area. He said that seven people aged between 18 to 27 years present in a small room of the building were injured and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. An official of the fire control room said that he received information about this at 6.18 am.
Firefighters brought the fire under control
After receiving information about the incident, six vehicles from three fire stations were sent to the spot to control the fire. He further said that the fire was brought under control soon and the fire extinguishing work was completed within an hour. The officer said police have seized three gas cylinders from the spot.
