Bihar Voter List Revision: There is a storm in the political corridors regarding the ongoing (SIR) voter list amendment process in Bihar. Now Girdhari Yadav, senior MP of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party JDU, has himself opened a front against his own party line and attacked the Election Commission. Girdhari Yadav described the voter list amendment process as ‘impractical’ and described it as a big conspiracy against migrants.
He made a statement against his own party line, saying that the Commission does not have “the Election Commission does not have practical knowledge. It does not know anything about both the history and geography of Bihar. It took me about 10 days to collect all the documents. My son lives in America. How will he signing in a month?
He further said, “I am giving my personal opinion. What the party is saying, it doesn’t matter. It is true. If I cannot speak the truth, why have I become an MP?”
