Terrorists attacked Pahalgam’s Basaron Valley
Surat: Gujarat Police has arrested a businessman from Surat for sharing an ‘objectionable’ video on social media on 22 April in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The arrested accused has been identified as 40 -year -old Dipen Parmar and was arrested by personnel of Amroli police station on Sunday when he posted a video on Facebook.
Post on Facebook page ‘Jago India’
A police officer said the message in the video post was that “Pahalgam terrorist attack was pre -planned and the masterminds live in India.” The Amroli police said in a statement that Parmar tried to spread a baseless and misleading message through his video posted on Facebook page ‘Jago India’. The police registered an FIR against Parmar to publish India’s sovereignty, unity and integrity or protection under Section 197 (1) (D) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) to publish false or misleading information that threatens the sovereignty, unity and integrity or security of India.
Investigation of social media activities
Police said that Parmar’s social media activities are being investigated and it is also being seen whether he has any contact with any terrorist organization. At present, the accused has been sent to judicial custody and the investigation of the case is going on.
