A car near Sanand town in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat fell into the canal in the dark of night. Three people died in this accident. Two people have somehow saved their lives. A police officer gave this information on Monday.
Accident occurred at eleven and a half at night
Inspector of Sanand GIDC Police Station JR Jala said that the incident took place on the outskirts of Virochannagar village at around eleven and a half on Sunday night, when the people in the car were returning to their ancestral village Jundal in Gandhinagar district.
Two people saved their lives
The police officer said, ‘Kanubhai Desai, Darshan Desai and Vishal Desai, sitting on the back seat of the car, drowned in the canal. The driver and another person sitting on the front seat came out of the vehicle in time and reached the banks of the canal. The five persons came to worship at a temple in Virochannagar.
The driver lost control at the turn
Police said that at one turn the driver lost control of the vehicle, due to which the accident occurred in the dark of night. Police officer Jala said that a report of accidental death (ADR) has been filed in connection with the incident. The investigation of the case is going on. (With language input)
