Chief Minister launched ‘developed agricultural resolution campaign’
Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday launched the statewide ‘developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’. It is a national campaign that aims to educate farmers about modern and sustainable agricultural techniques. The campaign was launched at an event held at Anand Agricultural University in Anand city.
Campaign will run till 12 June
It has been said on behalf of the government that this campaign will serve as a unique initiative to increase agricultural production, promote the self -reliance of farmers and promote indigenous produce. This campaign, which is run across the country from May 29 to June 12, aims to bring revolutionary changes in agriculture by integrating efforts such as price promotion, agricultural mechanization and natural farming through the use of time bound technology in agriculture.
55 teams will give information to 3.5 lakh farmers
It has been told by the government that under this campaign in Gujarat, 55 teams of experts will provide guidance to more than 3.5 lakh farmers on advanced agricultural techniques. Scientists, agricultural experts, officials of the Department of Agriculture and local progressive farmers of 30 agricultural science centers and four agricultural universities will visit villages between May 29 to June 12 and talk to the farmers.
During this time, farmers will be informed about natural farming, modern and climate-friendly farming methods, new advanced seeds, nano fertilizers, use of soil health cards and the importance of using only required fertilizers as well as central and state sponsored schemes. The CM said that this campaign is a golden opportunity to reach the doorstep of the farmers of Gujarat.
Teams will communicate directly with farmers
Explain that before the start of the Kharif season, the Central Government has launched a nationwide ‘developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ from 29 May to 12 to 12 June to enable farmers to make all necessary schemes. In this episode, this campaign was started from Anand Agricultural University in Gujarat today. A team of agricultural scientists will communicate directly with the farmers. Efforts will be made to make farmers solve their agricultural problems and get information about new agricultural techniques.
