1800 crore drugs caught from sea
Porbandar: 300 kg of drugs have been caught from the sea near Porbandar in Gujarat. ATS and Coast Guard achieved this success in joint operation. The price of drugs is said to be Rs 1800 crore. An official said that the drug -brought drugs from Pakistan were thrown into the sea by smugglers on a fishing boat. When the smugglers saw the patrol, they threw drugs to avoid arrest and moved to Pakistan -occupied maritime area. The ATS is seized and investigating the case by seizing the drugs.

The minister said that in an overnight operation on April 2-13, the Indian Coast Guard, along with the Gujarat ATS, launched an anti-information-based drug-based drug campaign in the sea. More than 300 kg of narcotics worth about Rs 1,800 crore have been seized.
Accused managed to escape
He said that based on reliable intelligence of ATS, the ICG ship identified a suspected boat despite dense darkness. When feeling the nearby ship, the suspected boat threw his drug consignment into the sea before running towards IMBL. The ICG ship immediately deployed its sea boat to recover the consignment thrown while chasing the suspected boat.
