Gujarat DGP ordered
Despite the law and order strong on the occasion of Holi in Gujarat, the news of Gundagardi in Ahmedabad, hit and run in Vadodara and rape of a 6-year-old girl in Surat put a question mark on the police department. On this, DGP Vikas Sahaya has instructed CP and District Superintendents of all major cities of the state to make a list of goons in the next 100 hours. After the DGP’s order, police has come into alert mode across the state.
Take strict action on goons
DGP Vikas Sahay held a meeting with all the Police Commissioners, Range Head and Superintendents of Police through a video conference. In the meeting, instructions have been given to deal strictly with goons. The DGP has ordered to prepare a list of anti -social goon elements in police station areas across the state in 100 hours. This list will include repeated physical offenses, threats, property related crimes, drugs and gambling illegal trade, mineral theft and those who create an atmosphere of fear in the society will be included. The DGP has ordered strict action on the goons.
Gujarat Police ready for bulldozer action
The DGP has also asked for illegal construction, electricity connections, financial transactions of banks and taking strict action against all of them and taking strict steps against them all. All police officers have been asked to follow these orders and ensure quick action. After the list of goons, bulldozers action can be taken by the concerned district administration and corporations on illegal assets of anti -social elements. The police have taken strict action against the operatives of Bhavsar gang who openly hoisted Gundai in Ahmedabad. Bulldozer action has been started in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
