Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given his approval to start work on various highways originating from the state. He said that approval was given to prepare DPR regarding the construction of 12 highways.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that there is no district in Haryana where a four-lane expressway or greenfield expressway does not pass through. With the aim of creating excellent infrastructure in Haryana, a network of roads is being continuously laid so that people’s lives can be made easier and simpler.
The Chief Minister said that in order to reduce the traffic congestion in Gurugram and Delhi, the Union Minister has given instructions to the officials to prepare a DPR to provide connectivity from Nelson Mandela Marg in Delhi to MG Road and the intersection of Gurugram and Faridabad Road so that Delhi The crowd at the airport and the beginning of Gurugram can be reduced. Similarly, he told that he has discussed with the Union Minister on widening and upgrading of Gurugram-Farrukhnagar-Jhajjar road.
Instructions for preparing DPR
Giving information about the road projects of Haryana, he said that today the Union Minister has ordered the officials to prepare DPR for the development of Pehowa-Kurukshetra-Yamunanagar corridor and Ladwa bypass including Kurukshetra bypass. Similarly, on Faridabad- Jewar Green Field Expressway in the urban area from km 0 to km 12. A modern design will be prepared for the construction of the elevated section so that this road can be used for the next 25 to 50 years and there is no traffic jam of any kind. Entry and exit ramps will be constructed in Mohana village on Faridabad-Jewar Green Field Expressway and the demand of the villagers sitting near Mohana village has been fulfilled, so that the people of Mohana can get connectivity on this road.
Toll transfer also considered
The Chief Minister said that there was also discussion on shifting of Khedki Dola toll plaza in Gurugram district and other arrangements are being considered using modern technology. Similarly, it has been agreed today to provide direct connectivity between KMP and UER-2 (Delhi) by constructing an interchange at the junction of KMP and Bawana-Sonipat Highway. The Union Minister has shown interest in this project and has given orders to the officials to implement it. The construction work of the flyover at Bilaspur Chowk, Gurugram (NH-48) will be started soon and repairs have been done for the convenience of the passengers.
