In this case, the accused of beating have been identified and the police have taken six of them into custody.
In this case, Tahir, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, has given a complaint to the police that currently he is living in Arki in Solan district. Recently his nephew had gone to Dhami in Shimla in connection with Saveg Ferry. He was going on a bike with his luggage, meanwhile some youths stopped him and beat him up and made a video of it. The complainant has identified the accused and demanded action against them. According to the information, the police have also detained some people for questioning in this case. Shimla DSP Manvendra Thakur said that on the basis of the complaint, action is being taken by registering an FIR under sections 126 (1), 115 (2), 352, 3 (5) of BNS.

Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has also constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan to formulate a street vendor policy. Its first meeting was held on October 3. The next meeting of the committee will be held on November 4, in which people’s suggestions and other legal aspects will be discussed.
